Mission & Philosophy

We create a safe and nurturing environment for children to explore and develop by providing a welcoming, Christian-based curriculum supportive of all faiths, implemented through a variety of play opportunities.

Class Sizes & Ratios

In order to maintain a safe and quality experience for each child in our program, River Hills Early Childhood Center keeps the following minimum ratios and class sizes within our classrooms:‍

Year-round enrollment for all ages and needs!

  • Immediate openings! Infants – 1 to 4 ratio with a maximum room size of 9
  • Immediate openings! Toddlers – 1 to 7 ratio with a maximum room size of 14
  • Immediate openings! Preschool – 1 to 10 with a maximum room size of 18
  • Year round enrollment! Traditional Preschool – 1 to 10 with a maximum room size of 20. These students join our fulltime childcare students from 9:00 to 11:30.
  • Get on the list for next summer! School-age (Seasonal) – 1 to 15 with a maximum room size of 20
    • Your child will enjoy a laidback summer designed to cultivate imaginative and collaborative play, offering extended periods of free play both indoors and outdoors. We organize weekly field trips and host engaging events at the center, such as storytelling sessions, bounce houses, and animal visits. Two meals and two snacks are provided daily. In addition, our classrooms have additional teachers/staff many times throughout the day to allow a playful curriculum to be carried out above and beyond basic needs of the children.

All three of our girls have attended RHECC, and we love it! RHECC is seriously the best center around. When we moved to the area, trying to find a new daycare was very stressful. From the moment I toured I knew that this would be the place that I would feel comfortable leaving my baby. They are absolutely wonderful with him, and he has learned so much through his time there. He loves going there every morning and enjoys seeing all the teachers and his friends. They are wonderful with communication and are always willing to listen to any concerns or questions that I have had, they are also very supportive in each stage (such as when he started solid foods). I feel completely comfortable leaving him there while I am at work, which is the biggest blessing. We are so thankful that we found RHECC! They are truly a blessing to our family!
